Foster City ESL Classes' Beautiful International Day Celebration 2016

Did you know that San Mateo Adult School provides ESL classes in Foster City? Four levels of ESL classes are taught by Teachers Paula, Deep, Joy, and Houry.  The classes are held at St. Luke's Church.  The church is located where Foster City Blvd meets the water, a beautiful location.  Teachers Paula and Deep Teacher Joy  Teacher Houry Friday, May 27th, the Foster City Campus ESL classes celebrated their cultural diversity with a beautiful International Day Celebration. Students displayed crafts and wares from their country on display tables. Japan  Armenia Ukraine Students presented performances, plays, dances, songs, powerpoints, videos, and demonstrations to showcase the richness of their cultures. Make New Friends, Have Fun, and Be Healthy at the Color 5K Run

Hey SMASrs!   Are you looking for an activity that is   * fun   * healthy   * helpful to other people   * a good way to make new friends?   Then check out the Color 5K Rotary Charity Run. It is a benefit for Type 1 Diabetes.  Diabetes is a very serious problem in the United States - and an increasing problem in other countries, too. The run is Sunday, June 12 at 10 am in San Mateo.   Former Evening Student Council President Maricruz Leyva is organizing a group of students to run together.   If you are interested, email Maricruz at teteleyva@att.net .
