Meet New Evening Transition Specialist Hilda Villegas!
SMAS Transition Specialists We have two transition specialists at our school. They help students find success in college, career, and community. They answer questions about our school, how to apply to college, look for a job, find community resources, and how to plan for a better future. Patty Villar is our transition specialist in the day and Hilda Villegas is our new evening transition specialist. Their office is in Room 28, facing the flagpole. Get to Know Hilda Hilda grew up in Half Moon Bay , a small town on coast of San Mateo County. Half Moon Bay is a beautiful area with farms and beaches. H Hilda's passion for helping people led her towards a Psychology Degree from Sonoma State University . Before coming to SMAS, she worked for La Costa Adult School in Half Moon Bay. Like many of our students, Hilda is a mom. She understands balancing family, work, and community life. Also like many of our students, she is bilingual. She speaks both Spanish...
